TIM has been developed for iPads/iPhones, Windows 10 and Android tablets and smartphones. However, for generating reports, tablets are recommended due to the larger screen and keypad. Smartphones should have a minimum 5.5″ screen and a rear facing camera.

To download the app, search for ‘the inspection manager’ for iOS on the App Store, Android – Google Play or the Windows Store. Then register via the website for your 30-day free trial. Next, add your username and password into the app home screen.

You will then have access to the templates and can start creating reports.

Yes, you can request a trial via the website. No credit card is required.

Yes, any scanned single page documents or photos can be imported into a report via the app or portal.

No, you only need a connection to submit reports. If you do not have a connection, the report is saved on the device and you can submit the reports later when you have a connection.

Yes, the reports can be edited via the app or your online account.

Yes, with your company logo, branding colours, T&C’s and disclaimers.

Your data is stored using Amazon Web Services, based in the UK – London region. Amazon Web Service is accredited to SSAE 16 Type II, ISAE 3402 Type II and ISO 27001:2005 standards.

If an ‘Error Message’ appears when trying to submit a report, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Login details’ and then ‘Test connection’. If ‘Connection or Login’ shows ‘FAILED’—this is the reason why you cannot upload the file.

The PDF is sent to your email address (the one associated with your account). Alternatively, you can find your reports in the web portal at portal

Go to the Login page at and click the ‘Reset Password’ link. A temporary password will be emailed to your username email.

NOTE: if you reset the password, you must also update it within the app. Go to ‘settings’ > ‘login details’. Type your new password in and ‘test connection’, if the results are ‘OK’, then press ‘Save’.
