What type of device do I need to use the application?
TIM has been developed for iPads/iPhones, Windows-10 and Android tablets and smartphones. However, for generating reports, tablets are recommended due to the larger screen and keypad. Smart phones should have a minimum 4″ screen and rear facing camera.
How easy is it to set up?
Search for ‘the inspection manager’ from the ‘Appstore’ ‘Play Store’ or ‘Windows Store’ register via the website 30- day free trial form and register. A welcome email will be sent to you, add your username/password into the app. You will then have access to the templates and can start creating reports.
Can I import documents & photos from other sources?
Yes, any scanned single page documents or photos can be imported into a report.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
No, you only need a connection to submit the reports. If you do not have a connection during the day you can submit the reports later when you have a connection.
Can I edit and amend the PDF reports?
Yes, the reports can be edited via the app, or your online account at no additional cost
Can the reports be branded?
Yes, with your company logo, branding colours T&C’s and disclaimers.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored using Amazon Web Services based in the UK – London region. The Amazon Web Service is accredited to SSAE 16 Type II, ISAE 3402 Type II and ISO 27001:2005 standards.
If I have a technical problem how do I contact support?
Please note; before contacting support if an ‘Error Message’ appears when trying to submit a report, go to TIM ‘Settings’ / ‘Login details’ and ‘Test connection’ if ‘Connection or Login’ shows FAILED this is the reason why you cannot upload the file.
How do I access the completed reports?
The PDF is emailed back to your email username on the device, or login to the website www.theinspectionmanager.co.uk
